STBJ in African Fest 2010

The African Festa 2010 was held at the Akarenga-Soko event space in Yokohama city. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan and 210,000 people participated to event.
Stop TB Partnership Japan co-operated with the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention (http://www.jfap.or.jp/） , raising awareness to the participants about HIV/AIDS and TB co-infection. STBJ presented about its activities and about the HIV/AIDS-TB issues in the NGO presentation booth. In this event, Stop TB Partnership Japan also distributed the flyer with TB information which was provided under co-operation by one of its partner, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Japan.

6th　Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity

STBJ held the sixth Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity. The total amount of the donation raised including the 6th Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity is 80,308yen. STBJ will donate the amount raised in the Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity to the Government or TB experts in Haiti. We express our gratitude to everyone who donated and support the Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity.

85th Japan Society for Tuberculosis General Assembly Booth Presentation

Stop TB Partnership Japan presented about ACSM research campaign (sponsored by the The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership) at the 85th Japan Society for Tuberculosis General Assembly in Kyoto. The presentation booth attracted several medical specialists and many became interested in the ACSM research.

5th Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity

STBJ held the sixth　Haiti Earthquake victims TB charity. While calling for cooperation to the TB patients and communities affected by the Earthquake, we also showed paintings in Haiti.
