The African Festa 2010 was held at the Akarenga-Soko event space in Yokohama city. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan and 210,000 people participated to event.
Stop TB Partnership Japan co-operated with the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention (http://www.jfap.or.jp/） , raising awareness to the participants about HIV/AIDS and TB co-infection. STBJ presented about its activities and about the HIV/AIDS-TB issues in the NGO presentation booth. In this event, Stop TB Partnership Japan also distributed the flyer with TB information which was provided under co-operation by one of its partner, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Japan.
